I don’t usually do reviews but I love this matcha!

I bought all three RINSUI blends so my husband and I could compare them side by side, and it was interesting to see that we ended up preferring different ones. My personal favorite was the Master Collection. I really enjoyed it prepared with just water because it tasted smooth, rich, and naturally sweet without needing any added sweetener. It also worked really well with oat milk and made a creamy, balanced latte while still keeping a noticeable matcha flavor. My husband preferred the Spring Harvest Blend. He especially liked the light floral aroma and thought it gave the matcha a more delicate and interesting taste. We both enjoyed trying all three, but the Master Collection and Spring Harvest were the two that stood out most to us.

This one has that genuine earthy, slightly umami flavour I usually only get at cafe. It's smooth, rich, and never overly bitter. I enjoy it most as usucha, and it's become one of my favourite ways to appreciate a high-quality ceremonial matcha.

This was my first time trying matcha, and I'm so glad I chose this one. It's incredibly creamy and not bitter at all. The quality is amazing, and it pairs perfectly with milk. I've been making my own matcha lattes at home, and they've turned out so good. I'll definitely be buying this again!

I've always enjoyed matcha, but after a trip to Japan and having proper matcha powder tea, I realized just how much I had been missing out, comparing it to the offerings back home, it was a night and day difference. But now, I can have that rich flavor and lovely foam in my own kitchen! The packaging is also very pleasing to the eye, I love the metal tin. If you're looking for a proper matcha experience outside of Japan, Rinsui Matcha is the way to go!

I absolutely love this matcha powder, it’s such good quality and tastes amazing. Not fishy or grassy, just umami and yummy. I usually have mine with oat milk and a splash of maple syrup.

I’ve been drinking matcha for the last 12 months now, slowly swoping out my 3 morning coffees for matcha instead and this is by far the nicest and most mellow matcha I have come across so far.

    OUR PROCESS

    From Leaf to Matcha.

Every step is guided by care, expertise, and respect for nature.

Rows of lush green tea bushes in a large plantation under a clear blue sky.

    01 Tea Fields

Our journey begins in the tea fields of Japan, where carefully cultivated tea plants are grown with patience and attention before every harvest.

    02 Shade Grown

Before harvest, the tea plants are shaded to naturally develop richer umami, gentle sweetness, and their vibrant green color.

Two workers in a tea plantation setting roll out a large black mesh shade cloth over rows of green tea bushes.

    03 Harvest

Harvested at peak freshness, the youngest tea leaves are carefully gathered to preserve their delicate aroma and pristine flavor of the season’s first flush.

    04 Quality Selection

Each harvest is carefully inspected before processing. Only tea leaves that meet our standards for quality, balance, and character continue the journey to become RINSUI matcha.

    05 Steaming

Fresh leaves are steamed shortly after harvest to preserve their vibrant color, delicate aroma, and fresh character before drying.

    06 Final Milling

After careful processing, the selected tencha are milled into an exceptionally fine powder. This final step helps preserve the matcha’s vibrant color, delicate aroma, and signature smooth mouthfeel.
